The Corrosion Hoodies

A labour intensive process which creates a unique one of one item.

What are the corrosion hoodies and how are they made?

The corrosion hoodies are our heavyweight hoodie with a unique fade process.  Starting with a 460GSM cotton loopback which is then cut and sewn into our heavyweight hoodie fit.  The initial item starts out a white colour shade and once sewn all together the hoodies are then garment dyed into the intended shade.  Once these are piece dyed they are then passed to the spray department.  In this department they are hand sprayed with a potassium spray which fades the colour out of the hoodies, as these are sprayed by hand every item is unique and will have different fading's and markings. 

 The end result is to create a sun faded bleached look on the hoodies which is not possible by normal dye techniques and replicate a true vintage sun bleached item as closely as possible.

A very labour intensive process but the results are worth the time!
